The Motorcycle Diaries

Spent the afternoon watching The Motorcycle Diaries. What a fabulous film it was too. Not only was it a story of two friend's journey around the harsh landscape that is South America, but it also gave an insight into how Che Guevara formed his ideals and started his quest to pursue the emancipation of the poor of the earth, as well as a fantastic depiction of the life and hardships of the people of South America. It was interesting to see that his life didn't just start with the socialist revolution of Cuba, which is how most people will know the now ubiquitous figure. Probably the best film I've seen this year so far.
